Terms of Service

This is an interim text. These terms govern your use of the Tip4Tab website and beta. Full terms covering payments and use of the live service will be published before general launch.

The service

Tip4Tab lets people send tips to service workers, who collect them through a personal tip page and cash out to their bank. During the beta, features may change as we refine the product.

Beta access

Joining the beta places no obligation on you and grants no ongoing right to the service. We may contact you about your account and the beta.

SMS Verification

Tip4Tab uses SMS exclusively to send one-time verification codes for account authentication. By entering your phone number and selecting "Send code," you consent to receive a verification text from Tip4Tab. Message frequency varies based on your requests. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send promotional SMS messages. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

Fees

Tip4Tab charges a 7% fee on each tip. Card processing is charged separately as the “Card processing fee*” at the processor's published domestic rate (2.9% + $0.30 of the amount charged). There is also an optional fee for instant cash-outs.

* 2.9% + $0.30 for US cards, up to 4.9% + $0.30 for cards issued outside the US. Tip4Tab absorbs the difference, so your total does not change. See current card processing rates.

Current fees are shown on our Pricing page and at the time of each transaction.

"Tip4Tab", the logo, and the content of this site are the property of Tip4Tab and may not be used without permission.
